Chaiwalla & Co. Container Cafe [Johor Bahru]

Chaiwalla & Co. is definitely not a new place in town. I am literally a sucker for these comfy neutral tones and I was pretty much attracted by the overall aesthetic. Pathetically, it is my first visit after they started business since half a decade ago [ignore me, am being exaggerating]. Didn't manage to capture lotsa picture due to the poor lighting and I have only my pathetic phone camera with me. Love the way the cafe actually lit up the quiet street on a weekday night :)

If you are a coffee person like me, yes they do serve coffee. But if you are not one, there are other alternatives for the beverage base such as milk tea, tea, fresh milk and smoothies :) Well, I got me a cuppa ice milk base - matcha - milk pudding for my 1st visit and they turn out real good ♥

MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is something NOT-TO-BE-MISSED!! They do serve  GREAT BROWNIES :) Af first, I wasn't quite sure if I should accept the challenge sent by the barista to taste such sinful treat at this late night but he assured me it's gonna be SO GOOD, and I told him I need a full cash refund if it's not. And it turned out to be one of the best brownies I have ever tasted :) ♥♥♥

A quick update on what I have been busying with recently. Chica Display is my newly set-up online business, having ongoing pre-order top-notch beautiful apparels & also 100% Authentic 3CE cosmetics all the way from Stylenanda Korea (:

These are some of the products that I have purchased and guinea-pig myself and am now IN LOVE WITH EM, especially the foundation and those shimmer stick! (: Fyi, Stylenanda is a pretty much popular fashion brand in Korea, 3CE is their house brand cosmetics. Very good quality with very affordable price.

CHICA DISPLAY

MyBurgerLab [Petaling Jaya]

Firstly, I am definitely not those kind of people who try to search for what's the IN-THING or IN-PLACE to hangout, start joining in the fun to queue... and sweat. Well, I have phobia for human being... or to say, crowd. 

But ,it came to a point where there's this friend of mine actually recommended MyBurgerLab to every friend who ever visit KL.  Me and my coworker was on assignment in KL last month and of course, he promised to take us out for a sumptuous dinner! And so... we joined the queue, for an hour. Free flow of icy cold lemon infuse water is being served during the wait. A very attentive gesture from MyBurgerLab has created a good impression and put a smile on my face :)

Check out the long list of burger menu. A happy variety of ingredients from the traditional beef, cheese, portobello, and onion... to the fusion maple syrup, salted watermelon, and... petai chicken????

Basically, I am not quite an adventurous person when it comes for food. And, I LOVE CLASSIC FOOD. I ordered Beautiful Mess 5.0 (RM18.00) with beef, fried portobello, sunny-side up, and sharp cheddar. It was quite a huge portion and I bet this is gonna be pretty much sufficient to fulfill any men's appetite. 

I have to say, the moment I had my first bite, the grumpiness I accumulated over the long wait is COMPLETELY GONE. They actually used up huge gigantic pieces of portobellos (fyi, I love mushroom) and generous amount of beef patty and cheddar cheese. I'd say, this is definitely not a overrated burger shop and I am definitely a returning customer :D
